The Asian African Society of Mycobacteriology (AASM) is pleased to announce that the 5th Asian African Congress of Mycobacteriology will be held from April 7 to April 9, 2026. This event will be conducted online with a hybrid component hosted at The Department of Mycobacterium Reference and Research, Research Institute of Tuberculosis, Japan Anti- tuberculosis Association, Kiyose-Shi, Tokyo, Japan. *.Oralpresentations(15–20minutes) within symposiumsessions,

*.Posterpresentationsorganizedbytopic,withdedicatedsessionsforinteractive discussion.
The congress will highlight the latest advances in mycobacterial diseases, focusing on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium bovis, and nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM). We warmly invite clinicians, scientists, faculty members, students, researchers, laboratory staff, and nurses to participate actively. This virtual conference aims especially to support young researchers in expanding their knowledge and building global networks.
Accepted abstracts will be published as a supplementary issue on April 1, 2026. This supplement will be indexed in DOAJ, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Scimago Journal Ranking, SCOPUS, Web of Science, and PubMed Central. The journal’s Impact Factor® is 1.5, as reported in the 2024 Journal Citation Reports® by Clarivate Analytics.
Please note that a publication fee of INR 5,700 and USD 65 applies to each accepted abstract. There is no conference fee; the 65 USD fee covers the Article Processing Charge (APC) for each published abstract.
